BOE Appoints New PHS Assistant Principal

Dear Pleasantville Community, 
 
At this evening’s Board of Education meeting, Mrs. Taryn Delaney was appointed as the next Assistant Principal of Pleasantville High School. She will begin in the role on July 1.
 
Mrs. Delaney currently serves as a Department Chair at Robert E. Bell Middle School in the Chappaqua Central School District. She brings a strong background in instructional leadership, student support, and building meaningful school communities. Throughout the search process, our district and high school administrative teams saw her as an exceptional fit for Pleasantville High School.
 
She will begin this summer and will work alongside Principal Joe Palumbo and the administrative team to support a smooth transition and continued growth at PHS. 
 
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Gregg Fonde, who will be retiring at the end of this school year. His years of dedicated service have helped shape the culture and experience of Pleasantville High School in lasting ways, and we look forward to celebrating his contributions in the months ahead.
