Dear Pleasantville Families,
Last night, we welcomed families, members of our community, and representatives from our staff and student body to our Capital Project Community Forum. Whether you attended in person or tuned in via livestream, we are grateful for your engagement and feedback.
If you missed it, the forum covered:
- Lessons learned from the 2024 vote and how we’ve responded.
- Updates from the Community Facilities Committee (CFC) and its subcommittees on STEAM, BRS Outdoor Spaces, and Fields & Lights.
- Expedited projects already approved by the Board of Education, including security upgrades, BRS chillers, and PHS pumps/lighting.
- Discussion about project “bundling” options for the May 2026 vote
- Timing and next steps in the planning process
